There’s a recent article from Psychology Today floating around which amusingly claims men are the problem in modern dating and relationships. Men are seeing just how futile it is to participate in online dating when the prize is typically a fat blue-haired feminist or single mothers, but luckily we have this random therapist to show up and claim that we are the problem! The unrealistic standards of modern women which focus on something like 5% of the male population or less surely can’t be an issue!

Younger and middle-aged men are the loneliest they’ve ever been in generations, and it’s probably going to get worse. …men typically are happier and healthier when partnered.

Lonely? No. Single and having fun? Yes. The line that really gets me is claiming that men are happier and healthier when partnered. It’s almost like this article was actually written by a woman with little to no insight as to how men really think. If you’re an average man, your dating prospects are atrocious and you’re forced to degrade yourself for the sake of matching with some disaster of a woman. Should you actually decide to commit to a modern woman, the inevitable weight-gain and dead bedroom are sure to follow. Just for fun, we’ll throw some cheating in the mix just to keep you even more miserable. When men are single, we maintain our mental and physical health by doing things we actually enjoy. The assumption that we are somehow better off in a relationship is truly laughable.

The problem for men is that emotional connection is the lifeblood of healthy, long-term love. Emotional connection requires all the skills that families are still not consistently teaching their young boys.

Young boys are being taught to ignore their masculine side and instead to become weak simps. Is a woman going to be attracted to some soyboy feminist who spends more money on porn than rent? No, they want the men who embrace the so-called “toxic masculinity” traits and behaviors. Emotional men get abused by women.

How can men reap the benefit of the algorithms? Level up your mental health game. That means getting into some individual therapy to address your skills gap.

Hahahahaha. This is 100% a women’s line of thinking. Women don’t know how to fix themselves which explains why so many of them end up in therapy. This is not something shared by men. We don’t go to therapy to talk about our feelings, we hit the gym to train and then we climb mountains.

Ultimately, we have an opportunity to revolutionize romantic relationships and establish new healthy norms starting with a first date. It’s likely that some of these romances will be transformative and healing, disrupting generational trauma, and establishing a fresh culture of admiration and validation.

This is some delusional feminist speak. I’m starting to wonder if this article is part of an elaborate conspiracy to keep men acting like huge pussies.

Will we step up?

Nah, bro. I’m going to continue working on my gym routine and enjoying my hobbies. Those lonely fat women and sluts on dating apps I’m apparently needing to “step up” for can continue being lonely without me. I have far better things to do.
